What To Expect At TCC

Worship begins at 10 a.m. (9:30 in the summer).

     You'll find plenty of parking.

You'll find a warm welcome at the door from our Greeters.

     Musical preludes and postludes.

Great hymn singing: contemporary as well as the old standards.

Our choir sings twice a month. Other Sundays, we host visiting musicians.

Liturgists from the congregation assist the Pastor.

Our Pastor gathers children together for a special message before they go off to  Sunday School.

There is always a reading from scripture (usually from the Common Lectionary).

Our Pastor preaches a sermon (click here to read a sampling of Pastor Julie's sermons)

"Joys and Concerns" - a time of congregational sharing.

A time of silence followed by pastoral and congregational prayer:

           thanksgiving for our blessings,

           prayers for those in need,

prayers for our community and world.

First Sunday of every month is Communion Sunday. Communion is served by our Deacons. All are welcome to  receive.

There is time for announcements before the final hymn and benediction.

Coffee hour follows the service in the lounge. Come enjoy a beverage, great food, and warm fellowship!
